StencilGirl - Explore Stencil
The Explore stencil by Roxanne Evans Stout features a small turtle that she imagined was exploring a shallow creek. There are stitch lines around the border and also lines that symbolize his imaginary path through the water. Round stones border both sides of the turtle and the word “explore” completes the stencil. This stencil is part of the "Stitched Messages" series, all of which hold a special symbolic meaning to Roxanne. The stencils in this series all include marks and patterns designed as stitching guidelines, but they work equally well as patterns with ink, paint, etc... to create focal points in mixed media artwork, art journals, and more.

This stencil is ideal for use in your art journaling, mixed media, and paper crafting projects and is fabulous with the Gelli plate! It would also be lovely in encaustic painting.
