This impression mat from PME is ideal for use with a range of edible and non-edible materials including sugarpaste, fondant, gumpaste, marzipan, and even modelling chocolate.

  • This textured embossing mat is double sided, with grooves on both sides. This allows you to have either the cobblstone/ large diamond effect in the indentations, or as a fully raised pattern.
  • Simply knead the sugarpaste, and roll to your desired thickness. Lay your impression mat on your fondant, roll over this lightly once more, and then peel the mat away!
  • Alternatively, if you want only a lightly impressed design, use a cake smoother to run over the mat instead of a rolling pin.
