Kokopelli is a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player (often with feathers or antenna-like protrusions on his head), who has been venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States. Like most fertility deities, Kokopelli presides over both childbirth and agriculture. He is also a trickster god and represents the spirit of music.

Unmounted stamps are very easy to use, however they do need to be attached to a smooth surface prior to stamping. An acrylic block is ideal as they are completely clear. To use, the stamps are simply removed from the protective backing and attached to the block. The stamps are then dabbed with ink and used as normal. One of our stamping platforms are also great for these detailed stamps you can stamp them over a few times to get that perfect image every-time.

Some stampers report better results if they stamp on a slightly giving surface such as a mouse pad. Clean the stamps well after use with mild soap, or Ultra Clean and store either on the backing sheet or in a container. Dust and dirt will stop the stamps from sticking. Some inks will stain the stamps, however this does not affect their use.

Take a look at our wide range of ink-pads for stamping and our colour pencils and aqua markers or alcohol based markers for the look you are looking for and to make the creative process fun and absorbing. Our watercolour paints  can also inspire you to colour in and paint
