Hi, Friends!

It’s Caly with you today sharing a card made using the Rainbow with Splatters Washi Tape and new Frame Builder dies in the Oval and Diamond shapes.

Washi tape makes backgrounds so easy!  There isn’t any ink-blending or shading involved and there’s a soft and smooth sheen to your card panel.  To give my washi panels some interest, I gave them a border using the Stitched Rectangles and Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die.

My first card uses the Frame Builder:  Botanical Diamond frame.  I die-cut my botanical diamond frame in white cardstock and adhered it directly over the washi panel.

For my sentiment, I used the Phrase Builder:  Sending die and die-cut the word sending hugs.  I die-cut the halo in black and the words twice to stack for dimension before adhering it over my card panel.

My second panel uses the Frame Builder:  Botanical Oval die.  Once again, I die-cut the frame in white and adhered it directly over my rainbow washi panel. I used the Sentiment Suite:  Hello die and die-cut the halo in black and the word hello in white cardstock twice to stack for dimension before adhering them to the washi tape panel.

To complete my card, both are embellished Pinkfresh Studio jewels.  I hope you enjoyed these simple no-stamp cards!  Sometimes, those really are the best cards – especially when you have fun washi tape that does all the work to bring you a colorful card!

Thanks for stopping by today!
