Accordion My Little Angel Card with Channin Pelletier + Video

February 2, 2020

Shared from the Heffy Doodle website.

Hello Heffy Doodlers!! It’s Channin here and in today’s video I create a cute accordion card with the adorable My Little Angel stamps and dies! I sort of think of today’s card as an interactive card because as you unfold each panel you make discoveries along every turn! You can watch the video below or over on our YouTube channel.

To create this card I started with 3 white A2 side-folding card bases (4.25” x 11”). I then die cut the front of one of the card bases or half of the card base with one of the Sliver Linings Cloud Border Dies.I then flipped the card base over and die cut the other half.

Next, I used what remained from the first card base to help me aline the Silver Linings Cloud Border Die to die cut the second card base. This time I die cut the back panel first again using the negative as a guide. Once the back was cut I then die cut the front with the border die.

Next, I moved onto my third card base and this time used the leftovers from the second card base to help me aline the Sliver Linings Cloud Border Die on the front panel and then die cut.

Once all my card bases were die cut I then adhered them together in an accordion fashion, meaning the back of the first card base to the second card base flipped (fold on the right) and then the second card base to the front of the third.

When the card bases were all adhered together I then created a mask with the Silver Linings Cloud Border die out of contact paper. Next, I used the mask to ink blend both sides of the card with light blue ink to create clouds.

Next, I stamped several images from the My Little Angels Stamp set in a brown ink and then copic colored them. Next, I die cut the images out with the matching dies. I then adhered the images to my card and then finished the card by stamping a sentiment on the front and inside of my card.

I hope you enjoyed!! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
